Directions to ANIMA Retreat-at-the-Beach

By Car: traveling from the West

Long Island Expressway east to 59 south.  Turn right at 1st light on Ocean Avenue, Route 93.  Travel 6.5 miles south on Rte.93 which becomes Lakeland Ave.  After 2nd RR crossing make left at light onto Main Street.  Follow green & white "Fire Island Ferry" signs to the terminal.  Take ferry boat to Cherry  Grove.

OR

Sunrise Highway east to exit 49 Lakeland Ave.  Follow directions above.

  
    By Car: traveling from the East

Long Island Expressway west to exit 62 South (Blue Point).  Take Nicholls Road, Route 97, 5.5 miles to 3rd light which is Rte 85, Montauk Highway.  Turn right onto Foster Ave.  Follow green & white "Fire Island Ferry" signs to the terminal.  Take ferry boat to Cherry  Grove.

OR

Sunrise Highway west to Nichols Road.  Follow directions above.

  
    By Plane

Arrive at the Islip Airport.  From the courtesy desk telephone for taxi to the Fire Island Ferry terminal.  Travel time from the airport to ferry terminal approx 15 minutes.  Take the ferry boat to Cherry Grove.
